Enamored with the charm of Etsy, I impulse bought a bunch of necklaces, none of which I wear regularly. Because they kept getting tangled, I scrounged up some materials and made this jewelry holder.
The great thing about upcycled projects is that they can be adapted to what you have in your house. I used an old cork board but you can get the same effect using a piece of cardboard and a nice frame.
You Will Need:
Old Cork board
Paint
Fabric
Hot glue gun
Push pins
1. Paint the frame of the cork board. You might want to do this outside or at least in a well ventilated room. I used a free sample of interior paint that I’ve received.
2. Measure cork portion and cut out a piece of fabric that would fit and glue in place.
Since I lost the pictures for this tutorial, I thought I would draw it instead!
3. Insert push pins as desired.
Ta-daa!!! A brand new room accessory that’s easy and cheap.
